Nail Love

Recently I've been looking at nails. I think I may get them done by myself today. 

I think I have an inspiration set that I want to try 

Ta-da~~!! This is from the Jelly-Nail site. I've been feeling sparkly and pink recently, so I think these will do.

I really want to try getting a gel nail set. I mean, pros - it doesn't smell like acrylic - those smell terrible. That, and you don't have to worry about it drying on you while you're still working on it. Another thing I find annoying with acrylic nails is that sometimes it kind of gets this weird yellow-ish hue. Maybe it's just me though, I've never really gone to an actual salon to get my nails done. That would probably be the best thing to do when first starting to do your own nails.

Well, we'll just see how it goes, and I will post photos later.

I finished that hand while watching Ghost Whisperer. Oh sigh, I love the Jim and Melinda couple. I can't believe they're canceling the show! (*゜―゜)。Makes me sad...

Anyways, I think the nails turned out alright. Someday I'll get it done at a salon... someday...

Make-up Tutorial

Now, the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel liner claimed to be watereproof - and yes it is to an extent. The bulk of the eye liner comes off when rubbed with water, but it leaves that nasty dark stain thing on your eye if you don't use a make-up remover or oil (what my sister had to use to get it off because we're out of make-up remover, hahaha).

Oh, and as a thanks for waiting, I took a picture of the skunk that comes to visit us occasionally to steal our cat's food.

Makeup

So today I went to Target with my mum and sister to look for this one really pretty lip balm that my sister bought the other day. 

It's a softlips lipbalm that comes in a pack of two. That white part on the right side was where a $1 off coupon used to sit. My sister pulled it off and told me to just use it when I bought the thing (^◇^;)

When we were there, I also looked at the eye liners and came across the Maybelline Eye Studio gel liner. I'm running out of my black liner, and I've always wanted to try gel liners, so I decided that it wouldn't hurt to try it. 

It claims to be smudgeproof and waterproof, so I'm going to test this claim tomorrow, haha.

Here is a little bit of a test to show what the liner looks like. On the right side, you can see how thin the included brush can get.

Well, with the new liner and lipbalm, I want to try my makeup with these new things, so tomorrow, when I do my make-up I will make a tutorial of my daily make-up.

OH! I also came across this one cute little umbrella 

I only thought of one person when I saw this, hahaha. Oh Jaz, you would so love this umbrella.

Hair! Chocolate! Shopping!

When I do my hair, I like to look at inspirations from several of my favorite magazines such as Koakuma Ageha or Ranzuki, but another place where you can find some awesome tutorials and actually see the process, you can check out youtube~( or any other video uploading site for that matter)!!

I went to the Brea Mall yesterday to walk around and get myself new bras and undies (゜∇゜)~

There is a Sanrio store there so we decided to stop by. The Sanrio store at our local mall closed down (*´д｀*) which made me extremely sad.

Inside, they had like this Hello Kitty kitchen set~!!!!

This one little section for kitchenware. Ohhh God I'm going to die, they're too cute. They were all Pink and white scheme, which was pretty awesome since that is one of my favorite color combinations.

After Sanrio, we scoped the mall for good bargains, heehee and then I came upon Wet Seal, which had undies for 4 for 12, so I decided to go for it.

These are some of the selections they have. They have loooaaads more over there if any of you guys want to take a look. They have an extremely adorable selection for the 4 for 12 deal. 

Then, there was Forever 21, where they had bras for 1.99 - 3.99. So, these are the ones I picked up.

I fell in love with them (⌒～⌒；)

After shopping and walking around the mall for a while, we got kind of tired and hungry, so then when we got the chance, we ran off to Godiva for some of life's most sinful pleasures. I got myself a Chocolixir, a small chocolate bar, and a single truffle. Kind of pricey for a truffle... I mean like what was it... 3$? For a truffle? First and last I'll do that until I get filthy rich. It was good though.

They were having a 40% off sale so I had to get myself the bar (＞ω＜；)

Well, guess I'm not spending for two weeks, haha (＝∇＝;|||)...

Good evening~!

Today I went to the mall with my mum to get my baby sister's eyes checked. She'd just turned 4 less than a month ago and she'll be starting school this fall.

Anyways, I'd bought two bracelets there for two awesome people.

This is for my best friend Jaz ❤ I love her to pieces (´ε｀). She absolutely loves green and the green-blue combination. So when I saw this I had to grab it for her. 

and this next one is for Arie, another amazing girl I know. I thought I should get her a little something for bringing back little trinkets for me when she went home to Japan. 

While I was there at the mall, we had some Panda Express, hahaha! I got one of those fortune cookies and normally I'd just hand it over to someone else. Well, this time I decided to actually open mine and this was what I got:

(*_*) There's just been so many things going on in my life, in my head, that seeing something as simple as a small, meaningless fortune cookie message is actually kind of comforting. ❤ teehee.

So I thought I would give myself a haircut and decided to cut my bangs. I have this one problem with cutting my bangs either too short or uneven, and this time, it was uneven. (*゜―゜)

See where I'm pointing? That's like so much shorter than the rest of the bangs I cut. And then there's that middle strand where it's much longer than the others. My God, I can never cut my own hair... but for some reason, I can cut other people's hairs pretty nicely.

Sad life. 

OH! and I tried the make-up tutorial from Ranzuki in the picture above. This was the magazine tutorial I followed (except I added the bottom lashes I'd just gotten from Dolly Wink.) Sadly, my blush isn't showing up in the picture:

It was definitely much different than my normal make-up, and I am still getting used to applying individual falsies (notice several wonky lashes?)

So yesterday, when I went out to meet my honey, I went back to the make-up I was more used to.

Anyways, I am to design a flyer for the Disney tribute I may do, so I'll post pictures of that when I finish later.
