Waahhh, I've been so busy with midterms and junior recital preparations. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to update

I have my junior recital poster done:

This is my main poster, hahaha. The one below this one wasn't approved because the lollipop may be too suggestive (＞∇＜；) I wasn't exactly thinking about that when I did the photos for my poster.

I just thought, " Okay! This is going to be dream-themed with lullabies, visions, nursery-esque... striped background, lollipop... etc...." I kind of forgot the double meaning lollipops had. Sad day. I like the way it turned out. Oh well!

If anybody would like to attend, it's going to be in Azusa Pacific University in California.

There's going to be 30 minutes of classical repertoire, and the program will center

around the theme of 'dreams'.

It will be featuring the works of Monteverdi, Handel, Schubert, Mozart, Brahms, Reger, Faure, Rich, and Copland.

I'm sorry this post wasn't too great, hahaha. I just wanted to let you guys know I'm still alive and... well... living the college life and hitting the books. (I'm pretty sure I've fried my brain these past couple of days) (＝∇＝;|||)

L.A. Opera - Il Turco In Italia

So on Monday, Valentine's daay, I went on a field trip during the day with several of the APU opera cast I was working with last semester. I'd been to the Dorothy Chandler before, but not to watch an opera. I was one of the semi-finalists for the Spotlight Awards - and it's a beautiful building. I took several pictures while I was there - so here's a few of them:

Isn't it gorgeous at night? 

We weren't allowed to take photos inside, so I didn't, but the opera rehearsal was GREAT!! The story started out really really confusing at first, but as it progresses, things begin to fall into place and it's quite interesting, I'd say. If you guys get the chance, watch the opera when it's ready for public performance!!! ❤❤

After the opera, I went back to the school to meet my love for a Valentine's Day dinner. I had told him we were leaving L.A around 6 PM, but he still insisted on coming early - right from his school to save gas. So he sat outside in the parking lot for about 2.5 hours (*´д｀*) I felt sooo baad!!

We decided to eat at Acapulco's because I wanted the sweet corn tamales, but NO they only had it in the morning (;´д⊂)

This was what we had instead.

Aaaand this is a random piece of Rilakkuma Cola candy that my roommate brought for me. ❤❤

Vocal Juries and Lashes ❤

Hey there~ it's Mei~

I just finished my vocal juries for the semester. WHOO!! Two different vocal juries is pretty stressing, but I feel pretty accomplished. 

Anywhoo I've just bought Tsubasa's Dolly Wink 01: Dolly Sweet

It is RIDICULOUSLY LONG!! But I love love looove it

I wore it today:

Took the picture like at the veeery end of the day - and please excuse the brows, I'm in the last two weeks of school, hahaha. So tiredness. (＞∇＜；)

I decided to go for a Kuromi influenced look ❤

You can see that the lashes flare out really nicely at the ends. It barely fits my lashline. The lashes are extremely soft and give off a very natural feel while still giving off a subtly dramatic look.

Yeah, for my lips, I mixed a bit of the blush with the gloss. I'm not sure if that's harmful, so don't take my word for it.

Well, while I have lashes on my mind, here are some on my wish list:

Jewerich, oohhh goodness, how beautifully dramatic they look. I would love love loove to try a pair. The length of the lashes is wonderful and from what I've seen in several pictures, they pass the double lid - which is something I want my lashes to do. So someday, I hope to get my hands on that.

You know? I used to HATE these. I used to think these were so tacky. But... I fell victim... to this model... and fell in love with it. I've no clue why, but yes I want ❤
